Terms of Service
Last updated: April 15, 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Stora platform (“Service”), operated by Stora (“we”, “our”, or “us”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
Stora is a platform that helps mobile app developers automate their App Store and Google Play presence. Our services include:
- Automated screenshot generation from your app’s source code
- AI-powered App Store Optimization (ASO) metadata generation
- App Store and Google Play compliance scanning
- Publishing screenshots and metadata to app stores
- Automated compliance fix pull requests
- Automated app store submission, including uploading builds and submitting apps for review
- AI agent workflows (QA, compliance, and submission agents) that perform multi-step tasks on your behalf
- A knowledge base where you can upload documents, files, and links to inform agent behavior
- Team and organization workspaces for collaborative project management
3. Account Registration and Teams
You must sign in with a valid GitHub account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and all activity that occurs under it. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
You may create or join organizations (“Teams”) to collaborate with others. Organization owners can invite members, manage roles, and control access to shared projects. By joining a Team, you agree that other members may view and act on shared project data, including app store credentials, metadata, and agent run history associated with that Team’s projects.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws
- Upload or transmit malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users’ accounts or data
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the Service
- Use the Service to generate misleading, fraudulent, or deceptive app store content
- Exceed reasonable usage limits or abuse the Service’s resources
- Resell or redistribute the Service without our written consent
5. Your Content
You retain all rights to your source code, app assets, and other content you provide to the Service (“Your Content”). By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to access and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you.
You are solely responsible for Your Content and the apps you publish through the Service. You represent that you have all necessary rights to use and distribute Your Content.
6. AI-Generated Content and Agent Workflows
The Service uses AI to generate screenshots, metadata, taglines, and compliance recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or inappropriate suggestions.
You are responsible for reviewing and approving all AI-generated content before publishing it to app stores. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will meet app store guidelines or approval criteria.
The Service includes AI agent workflows that can perform multi-step actions on your behalf, including but not limited to: uploading builds, submitting apps for app store review, creating pull requests, and running compliance or QA scans. These agents act using the credentials and permissions you have provided. You acknowledge that agent-initiated actions (such as submitting an app for review) may have real consequences, including app store review outcomes, and that you are ultimately responsible for all actions taken through the Service on your accounts.
7. GitHub Integration
The Service integrates with GitHub to access your repositories. By connecting your GitHub account, you authorize us to access your repositories within the scope of permissions you grant. You can revoke this access at any time from your GitHub settings.
We request the minimum permissions necessary. Read-only access is used for most features. Write access is only requested when you use features that require it (such as creating pull requests), and only with your explicit consent.
8. App Store Credentials and Sessions
If you provide Apple App Store Connect or Google Play credentials, you are responsible for ensuring you have the authority to use those credentials. We use them solely to publish content and submit apps on your behalf, and store them securely with encryption.
The Service may also cache App Store Connect session tokens to maintain authenticated sessions for publishing, submission, and metadata operations. These tokens are encrypted at rest and automatically expire.
We are not responsible for any actions taken on your app store accounts through the Service, including automated submissions initiated by agent workflows. You are responsible for reviewing all changes before they are published or submitted.
9. Subscriptions, Credits, and Payment
Some features of the Service require a paid subscription. Subscription terms, pricing, and billing are managed through our payment provider (Polar). By subscribing, you agree to pay all applicable fees.
Certain usage-based features consume credits (e.g., cloud builds, AI generations). Credits are non-refundable and expire according to your plan terms. For Team accounts, credits are pooled at the organization level and shared among members.
We may change our pricing with 30 days’ notice. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis at our discretion.
10. Knowledge Base
You may upload documents, files, and links to the Service’s knowledge base to provide context for AI agents. You retain all rights to this content. By uploading, you grant us a limited license to process and store this content solely to improve agent accuracy for your projects.
You are responsible for ensuring that uploaded content does not contain sensitive information you do not wish to be processed by AI providers (see our Privacy Policy for details on third-party data sharing).
11. Cloud Build Infrastructure
The Service may use third-party cloud sandbox providers (including lim.run) to build and run your application for screenshot capture, testing, and submission. When using cloud builds, your source code and build artifacts are transmitted to and processed on these third-party servers.
Build environments are ephemeral and isolated. Source code and artifacts are deleted after the build completes. You acknowledge that your code is transmitted to third-party infrastructure for processing and agree to our selection of build providers.
12. Intellectual Property
The Service, including its design, code, features, and documentation, is owned by Stora and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of the Service without our written consent.
13. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure. We do not guarantee that AI-generated content will be accurate, appropriate, or compliant with app store guidelines.
14. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, STORA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUE, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY, OR ANY LOSS OF DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE.
Our total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
15. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stora and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
16. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. You may delete your account at any time.
17. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and updating the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
18. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
